This new version of Ubuntu has some new features. Such as GNOME 2.20 and Compiz Fusion. It also features a desktop search, fast user switching and NTFS writing. There’s much more, you should check it out yourself. I just need to pray that my WLAN Chip in my laptop is supported by Ubuntu. I guess I will find that out in 2 days!

I’ve recently bought a new laptop, a Toshiba L40-12k to be exact. It’s a really nice laptop but I don’t really appreciate Windows Vista on laptops. For some reason it just doesn’t work out. That’s why I’m considering to try the new Ubuntu release, which is a Linux distribution, on my laptop. I just hope it allows certificates to be installed. Because I need those installed, else I can’t use the internet at college. Only a couple of days left until the new distro get’s released. I’ll keep you guys posted!
